Opposition To The 'Fair' Elections Act Grows

    3. I think one of the best ways which, sadly, people grossly underestimate, Sandy, is to write to one's M.P. If it is a Conservative, you will likely get a stock response quoting the party line, but believe me, being the ambitious creatures most of them are, they are more sensitive to public criticism than they let on, especially if they get sufficient numbers of letters that suggest they will not get the writers' support during the next election. Unfortunately, however, this conveys the powerful message that they they work for us only IF sufficient numbers do it.

      Another way to show and promote opposition is, if you have a Facebook account, to keep your 'friends' informed on important political issues. As well, you can spread a lot of good information by word of mouth, by signing petitions, by becoming involved in political groups in your community, etc.
